How to turn an old dress into something new, Great Gatsby Dress

This is a gorgeous 1970-80s (might be earlier ) design silk dress. Gorgeous Beaded hand beaded hand , this dress have a lower waist and flowy double skirt Perfect design for Gatsby events and weddings themes . The dress marked size 14 , but since it’s a Vintage dress, I’d recommend to double check your measurements, it may run smaller .The dress is in an excellent – never worn condition ( has two tags with it ), but I had to fix few beads and lace around the neck area , somehow it was loose . The dress has a zipper, closure on the back ,on cute little closure pins on a bottom of both sleeves . I sewed this beautiful lace sash from a tea dyed vintage lace to create a Gatsby era look. The sash tights up n a generous bow and tights this all together! I made a one of a kind flower pin , from the same vintage lace. The pearl strings don’t come with the costume, but the flower pin DOES After removing the accessories you can use this dress for other occasions with other accessories or without any – the dress is very beautiful on its own !
