How to make your own gatsby style dress

You are viewing my Gatsby up-cycled design dress. I love creating 20s ak as Edwardian era dresses. So much to work with and soo much to add , or change to make this unique look dresses. Well, this dress was originally from 1980-1990’s era , with lace cover top and crazy sleeves . By removing the sleeves and finishing sleeve opening , the focal point of the dress go to the length and texture of the dress . So, I coffee dyed this dress to make it more antique look. it offsets the color of the lace and the foundation of the dress. I ,then , added lace embellishment to the neck area and made this little bow pin that I created with vintage chocolate brown tone lace .Then i made the long sash to pull those colors together . The gloves and beads don’t come with the dress , I use them to show you how to dress up for the Gatsby event . The beaded vintage gloves though can purchased in my shop . The dress has a back zipper and marked size 10 , but being a vintage item you want to make sure to double check your measurements . Contact me in case of any questions.
