Alright, you might have already noticed it if you are one of those regular visitors or followers of mine that I am going through a slight concept change within my blog. I am giving more details of the process of making “it” and hoping it will be more helpful for those who are looking for tips, ways of getting stuff done and etc. besides trying to get ideas of upcycling things, new do-it-yourself kind of projects and so on. The description and details I have here on my blog is more than what it is in item descriptions of my shop from now on. Also, by leaving feedback – comments, you could start a some kind of discussion panel under each posting of mine. All genuine comments will be approved for sure. I say genuine, because I am getting tons of spam and I simply delete them all without even looking at what they are.

How to create a new dress out of an old one, hot pink dress

You are viewing my VINTAGE up cycled wedding / special occasion hot pink dress. The dress was a handmade in probably around 1950s, that I was able to estimate by the look of the design. Originally there were some funny looking sleeves attached to the dress that didn’t belong to the design , so I had to remove them .Then I made the sleep of the dress way shorter to make the dress within now days look,… The gauze top hot pink layer of the dress is very vibrant color and very nice to the touch as well! I love the light batwings on this dress! It reminds me of the Maggie’s dress from the movie ” the thorn birds ” – very romantic and feminine! I love this gorgeous bead work on the front too , very nice work !

The dress has a long zipper on the back and it was marked size 12 , but please double check your measurements below! Convo me in case of any questions by leaving a comment below or by contacting me on my etsy shop; I will get back to you as soon as possible !
