Handmade upcycled 1920s The Great Gatsby Dress

You are viewing my new Gatsby upcycled design. Originally , the dress was very long , so I made it shorter and created those pretty lace extensions from hand-dyed in light mauve color lace. I tried to make it generous , so it would not be too transparent. I added a gorgeous antique lace to the top of the lace skirt and also a matching one to the bottom of the top extension of the dress. I think it came out very beautiful together; to complete the look I created a long sash from the same lace that I used for the skirt , and finished edges with thin hand-dyed in coffee vintage lace ! You can make a generous bow with this sash as you can see on the picture. I also made one of a kind flower pin for more glam ! the tones of the flower pin are within a dress color – light green , light mauve and golden beige. The top of the dress is attached to the dress only on the back along the zipper area; the dress is fully lined; the fabric of the bodies is very soft and pleasant to the touch. The VINTAGE dress doesn’t have a size tag , looks like it would be size medium to extra large , so please double check your measurements to make sure it fits you
