Dusty rose, lavender color 1950s hand dyed upcycled women's slip babydoll dress

I love vintage stuff! Good old stuff from the good old days! I love their style, their look, their spirit and nostalgia. And I love working on vintage stuff, giving them new life, bringing them back to life as an explosion of beauty from those good old days. To love what you do adds a lot to what come out of your work at the end; beauty!

Nothing mass produced by those cold and soulless machines; and nothing like the human touch of magic on a creation. That’s why I do what I do and I love what I do. And that should be the reason for my loyal followers and customers to whom I am unable to be thankful enough.

So, here is another post of the day:

This is my upcycled summer dress design ! I loved that vintage probably 1950s slip that I used for the base of the dress.I hand dyed it in a light lavender / dusty rose color that made this fabric very unusual . Please zoom in to see the color dye effect on the slip . I made a pretty lace ruffle for the bottom of the skirt and embraced bodies with hand dyed vintage lace as well . I made a very pretty lace sash and a handmade pin flower for the front or the side (its movable ) .You can use it for your hair or pin it to your accessories ! Perfect dress for summer ,beach, country wedding! Or just for a night out with girls! The slip is size small to medium , and it stretches some , so please check your measurements !

Bust (armpit to armpit): 18 inches
Waist (laying flat): 16 inches
Hips (laying flat): 18 inches
Length (from shoulders to hem, adjustable straps): 46 inches
** The material also stretches a little bit
