Bright turquoise color crochet poncho shawl for women, upcycling project

It is almost the end of winter! Well, I should now say: “relativity, thou art a heartless b…h”, LOL! Yea, winter in some place, summer in another, plus, some places keep being cold or chilly or cool even during spring and summer times. Well, why am I saying all these things; sure, it is because I am gonna share an item which would seem like a winter or early spring accessory -it is early spring right now anyways :) – But since I ship all over the world, I had to say what I have just said.

You are viewing my up cycled vintage poncho . It’s made with bright turquoise and black color soft mohair , Made in Japan, I’d think that the pattern and it’s original place of maker it would be going back to 1950s- 60s style and pattern . While It’s in excellent condition , I decided to work with it and hand crochet this pretty turtleneck collar from originally off white wool texture yarn . The contrast was too much , so I hand dyed it in a pretty blue color to blend all colors together. I really like how it comes out ! You can wear it as a poncho or tight it on the top and wear it as a scarf – its very versatile ! Will look great with jeans or skirts , to dress up or dress down days ! For cool spring or cool winter days , will make you feel comfortable and cozy Size is free- from small to plus size.
